I lead the development and implementation of our sustainable raw materials strategy. Because resources are finite and using raw materials comes with an environmental and social burden, I truly believe that we need to change our current paradigm. I am proud to do my part towards reducing the industry’s footprint and helping to unlock new value in materials.

Head of Gender Justice & Human Rights

I drive the Foundation’s work to advance the rights of women and combat forced labour, child labour, and human trafficking. I believe everyone has the right to just and dignified working conditions, and take great pride in partnering with human rights advocates, women’s rights organisations, and social entrepreneurs to make this a reality.

In my role as head Circular Transformation, I will lead our work towards implementation of circular business models in Fashion. I believe that circular economy is the most powerful pathway to change. In the end it creates sustainability, good lives for humans and flora & fauna. We want change for the good, so we will create it!

I lead communications across philanthropy. Communications - when done well-  can shift mindsets, change opinions, create social movements and bring hidden issues to light. I’m proud of being able to tell the stories of those whose voice is not heard, and to show the role of philanthropy in creating social change.

I coordinate our Working Conditions Programme in Brazil. I do this because I want to contribute to improve a supply chain that currently perpetuates unequal power relations, affecting 1.5 million workers in the country. I believe in the importance and feasibility of having more fairness in working relations and conditions, especially for the women workers who form the base of the apparel industry.

My daily mission is to make life easier to the managers and partners of four global C&A Foundation programs, and I do this by keeping the administrative and financial processes of the programs organized and updated. I also give technical support to the Circular Fashion and Cotton programs. My motivation is to build new ways of doing fashion that drive systemic change through a more just and circular chain.

I manage our working conditions grants in Bangladesh. I believe that the way to create long term improvements in the textile industry is to aim big and set up initiatives in collaboration with other industry stakeholders. Initiatives with quantifiable results can self-finance and become sustainable after the initial push, and can be replicated.
